TEHRAN – Iran’s men volleyball team defeated Nepal in 3-0 (25-9, 25-15, 25-13) in Pool B of the 2022 Asian Games on Wednesday.

Saber Kazemi collected 11 points for Iran, while Nepal’s Man Bahadur Shrestha scored five points.

Iran, who were denied a third consecutive continental championship by Japan in late August, will take on Bahrain on Thursday.

The Asian Games in Hangzhou was due to take place in 2022 but postponed to 2023.
